President Obama, executing the ready, fire, aim drill he has perfected since January, yesterday “lashed out at Republicans for following a “familiar script” to “block healthcare reform.” Diverting attention from the elephant in the room (pardon the pun, it’s really a donkey) the President conveniently ignored that he doesn’t need the Republicans to get this health care Trojan horse inside the gates.

President Obama is scheduled to hold a press conference tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at 8 PM EDT. I hope the questions are better than the one asked by Jeff Zeleny of the New York Times at the President’s 100-day press conference on April 30th: During these first 100 days, what has surprised you the most about this office, enchanted you the most about serving in this office, humbled you the most and troubled you the most? Dear Sir/Madam, Why anti-racist Australians and anti-racist Jewish Australians oppose racist Zionism, War and Genocide and cannot vote Labor. For anti-racist Jews and indeed all anti-racist humanitarians the core moral messages from the Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million dead, 1 in 6 dying from deprivation) and from the more general WW2 European Holocaust (30 million Slav, Jewish and Gypsy dead) are “zero tolerance for racism”, “never again to anyone”, “bear witness” and “zero tolerance for lying”.

Once there was a poor farmer who wanted to become fabulously rich in the diamond trade. He deserted his farmland and traveled the world looking for diamonds until he was too old to look anymore.
