Well look at this “Obamaination”! What is it with Democrats and their use of the “R” Word? Since when is the word “RETARDED” acceptable and why do Democrats learn nothing from the “teachable” moments? It is just another example that no politicians, including the White House has read the House of representatives health care bill known as Obamacare. The term “RETARD” was used in the house bill. How unreal, unthinkable and insensitive can these people be? The House bill of Health care reform written by Democrats refers to the out dated and insensitive term, “mentally retarded”.

And they still can’t get what they want, at least partially because all these stupid sexy facts and objective analyses keep ripping their glorious proposals to shreds. What to do about it? Czars of the Obama Underworld – according2mark.com 07/26/2009 Here is a great post over at Michelle Malkin’s blog about the Czars anointed by the Obama administration. She has an article in the New York Post that outlines the worst czars to date in Obama’s shadow government. She brings out some good points about who really has the power. The Cabinet secretaries or the Czars? History will show that the appointment of the czars to be one of the greatest abuses of power in history and will altar the checks and balances in Washington for generations.

As I noted last night, the Congressional Budget Office released a new report calling into doubt the Administration’s claims about the savings that would be realized from it’s health care reform package. Today, the partisan White House came out swinging against the non-partisan CBO: WASHINGTON (CNN) — The White House has criticized the Congressional Budget Office’s findings that the Obama administration’s proposal to control Medicare costs would yield a moderate savings of $2 billion over the next decade.

It may seem silly, but the singular fact about freedom is that having it means you have the God given right to ruin your own health without government saying you can’t, or standing in your way to get the medical care you need to fix your own mess. Obamacare, however, will both tell you how to live (taking away your freedom) as well as withhold from you the medical care you need to fix yourself. In fact, by its very nature, government healthcare has to end up that way. (more…)

As you have probably already learned this year, Democrats in Congress are not reading bills before they vote on them–even if they allow time for anyone to read them. Obama demonstrated this week that he isn’t familiar with the provisions in H.R. 3200, the House version of the health care bill. Who is reading it?

The White House went to war with the Congressional Budget Office after Friday’s announcement that the proposed changes to Barack Obama’s health-care plan to realize big cost savings would only recover $2 billion over 10 years, at best — about 0.2% of ObamaCare’s lowest projected cost. Budget director Peter Orszag published a statement yesterday that accused the CBO of essentially lying in its analysis:The Obama administration is touting a proposal to give a medical advisory council the power to

- Scott Miller Let’s face it. Obamacare is not “healthcare reform” in any shape, manner, or form. It is quite simply a brand new massive government welfare entitlement program. As bad as that sounds, that’s not even the most insidious part of Obamacare… what’s worse is that Obamacare will destroy the most advanced healthcare system in the world. You see folks, when Comrade Obama and his fellow Statists in the Democrat party talk about how they have to reduce costs in the healthcare system, what they are really saying is that they have to nationalized the entire system so they can implement price controls .

Our good friends over at the Daily Kos have a story up that projects an amazing level of mystification at the ability of those no-good, lying scoundrels in the GOP to prevent the “collective will of the people,” which the author believes government-centric health care overhaul known as Obamacare to be. A few excerpts: The GOP goal is to kill healthcare reform outright. … Not to kill single payer or a public option, but to kill the whole notion of reform.

WaPo Shocker: President Is Hiding Costs of Obamacare By Noel Sheppard Created 2009-07-26 14:45 What was a terrible week for Barack Obama likely worsened Sunday when the Washington Post editorial board accused the President of withholding from the public the true costs of the healthcare reform he so eagerly seeks. Makes one wonder if the White House will view the Post’s criticisms much as former President Lyndon Johnson did Walter Cronkite’s 1968 declaration that the Vietnam War was a stalement.

In Saturday’s weekly Republican address, House Republican Conference vice-chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington state, called the reform efforts backed by President Obama and Congressional Democrats “a prescription for disaster:” Unfortunately, the Democrats’ health care plan – crafted largely behind closed doors – isn’t the right thing. It’s a prescription for disaster – one that will put Washington bureaucrats in charge of your family’s personal medical decisions.

I remember I saw Glenn Beck replace Larry King and I really liked him. I wondered why FoxNews doesn’t steal him away from Headline News (which I never watch, so I didn’t know about Beck until he was on Larry King) and within weeks, they did. At first, I was disappointed because it looked like he was trying too hard, but there was a distinct improvement since. According to him, VA Hospitals’ wait time is twice as long as that of private ones, and they are two times more likely to fail an inspection.

Excerpts from a piece by Charles Krauthammer What happened to Obamacare? Rhetoric met reality. As both candidate and president, the master rhetorician could conjure a world in which he bestows upon you health-care nirvana: more coverage, less cost. But you can’t fake it in legislation. Once you commit your fantasies to words and numbers, the Congressional Budget Office comes along and declares that the emperor has no clothes.

With all the talk about this “stupidly” comment Obama made about the Cambridge police, I have this to say, I really hope this bit of news doesn’t go away for awhile since it will mean less time for the President to spend on convincing people that stealing our healthcare is a “right”, wile spending more time on the fact that Obama is a racist. What the media seems to not understand is that racial profiling did occur on that day, but not by Crowley. Instead it was Gates and Obama who were racial profiling.

If CNN / Fortune isn’t buying ObamaCare, that should tell you a lot. Via the aforementioned CNN.com : In promoting his health-care agenda, President Obama has repeatedly reassured Americans that they can keep their existing health plans — and that the benefits and access they prize will be enhanced through reform. A close reading of the two main bills, one backed by Democrats in the House and the other issued by Sen. Edward Kennedy’s Health committee, contradict the President’s assurances.

Good comment at this post at Ace of Spades HQ which explains why the American Medical Association (AMA) bended over and grabbed their ankles for Obama’s craptacular Obamacare proposal recently:Well I actually learned something new from Fox this morning while eating breakfast. They were discussing the obvious disconnect on why the AMA is jumping on the Obamacare train and supporting the “reform”.First, they put a past AMA president on and discussed it with him.

Just half a year into his term, with multiple crises on which to capitalize and the sorry alternative experience of Republican rule still fresh in recent memory, Obama’s approval rating has dipped below 50% . As for health care reform, the centerpiece of his current agenda, only 56% seem to even favor health care reform (and that would possibly include those of us who support real reform, moving toward a separation of medicine and state). And less than 50% support Obama’s plan .

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told the press the other day, “I’m not afraid of August. It’s just a month.” Well, she and her fellow liberal Democrats should be afraid, very afraid. When Members of Congress return home to their districts they are going to face an angry opposition to their schemes to take over health care, raise taxes by trillions of dollars and increase the public debt. Conservatives who want to defeat Obamacare should play an active role this August in stoking the flames of outrage in their congressional districts.

by Ralph Nader About the only lesson Barack Obama has learned from the Hillary and Bill health insurance debacle of 1993-1994 is to leave Michelle Obama out of his current drive to get something-anything-through the Congress labeled “reform”. Otherwise, he is making the same mistakes of blurring his proposal, catering to right-wing Democrats and corporatist Republicans, who want an even mushier “reform” scam, and cutting deals with the drug, hospital, and health insurance industries.

They analyze what’s both good and bad about one of the leading Republican alternatives to the Democratic ObamaCare plan. One key point: …So long as Republicans play the handout game, they will correctly be seen as “me-tooing” the Democrats, and they will continue to lose, step by step, inch by inch, to those who would subject the entire economy to political controls.

Day By Day by Chris Muir Chris, ultimately CHOICE in health care decisions is what will sink Obamacare as we know it today. Americans do not want a government bureaucrat telling them what medicine to take or when they can obtain a necessary medical test or MRI. Listening the Senate Democrats on the Sunday talk shows demonstrates how scared they are of removing CHOICE from the American people.

That’s really what it IS all about – who gets to control how healthcare is dispersed among the citizenry. While everyone is yammering about the costs, let’s not forget about one very important datum: Hey folks, the US is ALREADY broke! The democrats have learned the same lesson they had to learn in 1993-1994. If you attempt to take over the world’s premier health care system by claiming cheaper is better and bureaucrats are better than insurance companies, you lose the American people who know their health care is the best – which is why it is expensive. The amazing fact is we all have quick access to amazing medical treatments. Some have access to more, many don’t pay, but it is there and is the envy of the world (especially the UK and Canada, which the liberals hold up as the best we could hope for).

President Obama is on record implying that ObamaCare will help the nation’s small businesses rather than hurt them. It’s another instance of President Obama meaning the opposite of what he says. ObamaCare will hurt small businesses by raising their costs in the form of higher taxes and other mandates, which will kill jobs instead of creating them, and President Obama has promised that his economic policies will create jobs, which we all know is a lie.

Ben Stein : Why is President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed? Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths: The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith. They ignored his anti-white writings in his books.

And that inherent distrust may be the greatest weapon we have in stopping ObamaCare from becoming reality. If government can’t be trusted with relatively small things, then how can we trust it with really big things, like our health care? If President Barack Obama got anything indisputably right at his news conference this week, it was this: The American people don’t trust the federal government. That’s a major reason he’s having such a hard time selling his plan to overhaul the nation’s health care.
