Government controlled health-care is NOT the answer!

When we give the government power to give us something, we give them control over us.  The assistance always comes with requirements, regulations, stipulations, and so forth.  This, for the left, is a “backdoor” way to advance their agenda.  Directly ordering states to change their laws and regulations is a direct violation of the Tenth Amendment.  Also, going through the legislative process can be messy; legislation may not pass, and, more importantly, the debate is public.  When the left can’t pass something in the open, their either do it in pieces (incrementally), bypass the democratic process via a lawsuit, or pass it as a “string” attached to funding.

The failures of government run health care (aka socialized medicine) are already well known – especially in cases such as Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Russia, Sweeden, Cuba, Tennessee, Hawaii, Massachusettes, and everywhere else it has been tried. The fact that Obama wants to force people to die younger through his rationed care “end of life” proposals is well known. The fact that he wants to withhold necessary treatment from people not worth saving (people who will not vote Democrat) is also well known.

This is the second of two posts which takes a look at the ObamaCare “Healthcare” Bill that Nancy Pelosi, Waxman, and Obama are trying to ramrod down America’s throat. This attempt is buttressed by none other that the WaPo , recently caught trying to sell tete à tetes with politicians and lobbyists, now suddenly becomes the beacon of truth and light in journalism.

Barack Obama is a liar. Make no mistake about it, the usurper to the Oval Office out and out lied to the American people regarding his plan to nationalize health care. In the first place, he claims his plan is not to actually take over the health care system and make it a government run program. But he was contradicted on this by Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank, both of whom claim there are forces afoot trying to stop “government run health care.” Obama also lied when he said that the Democrat’s plan would allow anyone who is currently satisfied with their plan to keep it.

A July 25 L.A. Times blog piece is a perfect example of the anti-liberty left that I have talked about previously, those who would dictate from government on high how we are to lead our lives in order to deserve the government healthcare that we all pay our taxes to provide “for free” to everyone. For the Times, Melissa Healy is positing that we should tax fat people to pay for Obamacare because of the “obesity epidemic” that is driving up medical costs.

AARP supports Obamacare Healthcare Elitist progressive liberal Barack Hussein Obama will cut Medicare by approximately $100 billion.  Obamacare healthcare will destroy Medicare for retired Americans our senior citizens. Representative Barney Frank says it 30 seconds into this video: Remember what single payer medicine means: government is, by definition, the single and only entity that pays for medical care.  All physicians and providers of medical care would essentially work for the government, and be accountable to government.  If you want a certain type of medical care, just hope it’s in the interest of the bureaucrat who has the power to make that decision.  Because it will not be your decision.

July Results What Worked? For Stocks on Wall Street , July provided to be once again a disappointment. Due to my travels in London I was harmed from putting full forth all my effort to promote the website. Stocks on Wall Street had a total earnings of $380.40 for the month of July and this is how it broke down.
