Mike Allen of Politico has an excellent piece detailing the extent to which numerous conservative activist organizations and insurance industry groups are planning and carrying out the town hall ambushes over health care reform. No one who reads this will fall for the standard line from many Republicans that the folks who are often violently disturbing congressional town halls with patient constituents are simply individual outraged Americans.

Check the palm of your hands. Some of you ol’ heads out there remember the movie “Logan’s Run”. From Wikipedia Logan’s Run is a novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. Published in 1967, it depicts a dystopian future society in which population and the consumption of resources is managed and maintained in equilibrium by the simple expedient of demanding the death of everyone upon reaching a particular age, thus avoiding the issue of overpopulation.

I’m dismissing the CNN poll that says 50% of Americans are in favor of Obama Care.  The reason being is that CNN is part of the state run media.  They are Obamaniacs from the start.  They drew their numbers from the Obama Koolaide drinkers.  Which makes the poll kind of pathetic because they could only get 50% of the Obamaniacs to sign on to the plan.

This gentleman eagerly follows the arrow to  riches and better mileage. The wild enthusiasm for the “Cash for Clunkers” program caused Obama to ask for this addition to the “ObamaCare Soylent Red Supplement” for those over 65. Here’s another deserved individual! Surely everyone recognizes this clunker when they see it!

A few days ago, the Associated Press issued a “fact check” on the health-care reform package that included a refutation of the idea that the public plan would pay for abortions.  After abortion opponents ripped Charles Babington for poor reporting, the AP turned the story over to Ricardo Alfonso Zaldivar, who fact-checked the fact check.  Now the AP acknowledges that the public plan would indeed use taxpayer money to pay for abortions:Health care legislation before Congress would allow a new government-sponsored insurance plan to cover abortions, a decision that would affect millions of women and recast federal policy on the divisive issue.

I was too young at the time so I missed out on getting onto Nixon’s White House Enemies List .   But all things old are new again.  Discredited Marxist ideas,  failed programs long discarded and now the White House Enemies List… the only missing this time around is J. Edgar Hoover! Obama’s operatives are building a list of enemies of Obamacare (and presumably opponents of Obama’s socialism in general) and you can help me get on it!

American people do not support Barack Hussein Obama’s health care plan. The Obama Administration wants people to believe they are losing the health care debate because “ scary … videos are starting to percolate on the internet” that are spreading “disinformation ” about Obama’s health care plan.

by Hal_10000 Of the many many many aspects of the healthcare debate, there has been one recent talking point that I can not countenance.  It is the condescension being thrown at the people protesting against the current healthcare reform.  We are seeing rehash of the response to the tea parties—the airwaves are filled with liberals simply refusing to admit that anyone opposed to Obama’s policies opposes them on principal.  No, they are all shills for corporate America, motivated by ignorance, spurred by secret internet cabals and probably racist as well (to judge by the reaction to the Obama/Joker posters).

In 1949 English author, George Orwell published a futuristic novel that has become a modern day classic. 1984 portrays a “negative utopia” where repressive, totalitarianism is maintained through government surveillance and control. The Thought Police are the secret police whose job it is to regulate speech and actions as well as thinking that would challenge the ruling authority. Throughout the book the phrase “Big Brother is watching you” provides a constant reminder of oppressive authoritarianism.

I’ve looked at quite a few of the video’s of the town hall meetings where citizens are protesting Obamacare.   Nancy Pisslosi says people are showing up with swastika’s.   This is the only readily recognisable symbol I’ve seen any American Citizen wearing . That’s the symbol of the United States Air Force of which I proudly stand wear and stand behind.

Jason beat me to this yesterday , but I think it is worth noting some more. I’m a big fan of these stand along campaign websites and this one in particular is well done. It is straight to the point and gets people energized in a good way. It is also a great tool to collect email addresses for Ox’s campaign. At least I’m assuming it is for his campaign, but there is no disclaimer on the website saying if it is paid for by the state or by the campaign. Since Tim Echols emailed it to me, I’m assuming it is the campaign.

First and foremost, any individual provision or policy in the massive healthcare reform bill, over 1000 pages now, that I disagree with is effectively negated by the fact that no where in the constitution does it say that the federal government has a right to do any of what’s its proposing. Where does it say that health coverage is a right that the federal government can control and provide. We Americans enjoy the greatest healthcare in the world, but for some reason the Democrats would have you believe that people are dying in the streets because of a lack of medical care.
