Now, it’s not enough just to deplore this crap, and/or just try to set the record straight (which would involve not just refuting all such fabrications, but also pointing out exactly where and how Obama’s plan is flawed, although in no way that the rightists think).

Here is video of Sen. Dick Durbin today on CNN with John King where he said once again that much of the outrage being expressed at Health Care Town Hall Events is “clearly orchestrated.” Texas Sen. John Cornyn said it is important during to August recess to “slow down” and “listen to the people” on this issue and others. Durbin came right out and said there is nothing in the Democrats’ Health Care Bill that would encourage more abortions. Durbin is putting out “disinformation” in saying that.

On today’s This Week, Newt Gingrich repeated Sarah Palin’s paranoia-fueled rant about the health care bill currently before Congress creating “death panels” that will decide everyone’s fate: Newt Gingrich and Howard Dean went at it on health care this morning on This Week.
