The news talks about the protesters. The politicians ignore those speaking out. People from other countries are making comments. The BBC website has a lot of comments.What I do not hear is a reasonable way to fix things. Politicians in control of our health created Medicare and Medicaid.

If I understand what has happened this week in the fur-ball-fight known as ObamaCare, the left got rolled. The White House says: 1) there will be an explicit ban on health benefits for illegal aliens; 2) there will be an explicit ban on abortion funding; and, according moderate Senators of both parties: 3) there will not be even a public option trigger in the Senate. Once a month, I open my writeme inbox and realize that if it’s Monday, it must be bitch-about-Dexter day. Funny how an annoying schtick so quickly became as tantalizing as norovirus. Congress to America: Shut up and hand over your cash. In case you missed it because it was released late Friday, House Democrats announced that they will seek a massive $540 billion tax increase to help pay for Obama’s healthcare plan. Honestly, I did miss it. But I can’t say I am surprised. For weeks the Congress has been trying to play off the idea that they could come up with a TRILLION DOLLARS out of thin air. The only way that Obama can keep his promise that ObamaCare will be deficit neutral is to hit us, and hit us hard , in the pocket.

By PeterGemmaGot my New York Times this morning: the page one pix has a caption that declares “conservatives gather to vent frustrations” – sounds like we’re Luddites, protesting the advance of civilzation – the report is actually carried on PAGE THIRTY SEVEN way behind stories about Ramadan practices in Brooklyn, prison reform legislation in California, and across from a story headlined “Thousand Rally In MN for Obama Healthcare Overhaul.” The NYT reports that “well into the tens of thousands” attended the Tea Party (London Times and ABC have used estimates like nearly a million and over a million).

If you watched NBC news on TV Saturday night you witnessed propaganda at its finest! Televised pictures of the D.C. march were shown for a full 5 seconds and were immediately followed by a pro-Obamacare rally in Orlando. With about 200 folks in attendance but camera angles tried to make the crowd look equal to the D.C. march! The pro-Obamacare segment was aired for over 30 seconds! Does NBC think we are nuts? Cross posted at Carol’s Closet Over the course of the last few months I have had an awakening. I have always followed politics in my state of Florida, but to be honest, prior to the Stimulus Bill and Cap and Trade and the bailouts and now ObamaCare, I never spent one moment thinking about S. Dakota or Washington or any other state. I suddenly realized how important it is that I get informed and support candidates who share my values because no matter what state they represent, every single member of the United States Congress affects my life.

House Democrats are said to be mulling over a public reprimand of Joe Wilson, unless he formally apologizes from the House floor for calling President Obama a liar. Wilson and the Republicans should agree to this demand, provided every Democrat who called George Bush a liar follows Wilson in offering an apology to the former president. It would make for a very long session of the House.
Of all the Immigration enforcements laws that really works E-Verify has settled in to removing illegal immigrants from the workplace. But there is a “Sunset Provision” that could determine its future, since it’s specially working for the millions of jobless Americans? Supposedly E-Verification expires on September 30, only days after a Federal judge turned down a desperate delay from the despicable Special interest lobbyists led by the US Chamber of Commerce. On September 8 E-Verify, a contingency of the SAVE ACT was fully implemented mandating that all federal contractors and sub-contractors–MUST–use this computerized identification system.
The American people must understand their is tremendous pressure on anemic members of both political parties to dismantle, store or hinder the E-Verify process as they are the puppets of rich business enterprises.
We must endeavor to continue on raising our voices against the powerful forces that think nothing more than to destroy this valuable commodity called E-Verify. Overtime it will rid from every workplaces of millions of illegal workers, who think they are safe from government intervention. It will save billions of dollars being exported to other lands and sever the tolerant welfare programs, health care, education accessed by illegal low wage earners. E-Verify could introduced in all medical facilities, to check a persons national identity. The expedited message will spread and these lawbreakers will realize that it’s fruitless to keep on applying for jobs. Eventually families will start to pack-up and depart for every corner of the earth.
