No one can argue that the liberal left is limited in imagination. The ideas and myths they conjure up border on the insane. From believing Bush and Cheney were listening in on their lame ramblings, to the Chicken Little cries of doom over global warming after a decade of global cooling, they have some created some wild theories – that is to be sure. But one of their strangest delusions is the idea that the public booted them out of control of Congress in 1994 because they failed to be too far left and pass far left legislation.

By Lionel WaxmanBill Clinton, former president is seeing things again. He sees the “vast right-wing conspiracy” he was able to blame for everything when he was president. Now here it is again.Bill, and Obama, here’s the scoop (and we have the scoop because we are part of the right-wing). It is vast (unlike you’re half-vast left wing conspiracy) and it is right-wing, but it’s no conspiracy. It is simply the aggregation of people who believe in the founding principles of this country, people many of whom have sworn to uphold the Constitution.

Leviathan, The Matter, Forme and Power of a Common Wealth Ecclesiasticall and Civil Conservatives and libertarians of the type who frequent this site are often seen as extremists by the left. We will be told that Obama “is simply trying to help people” and that our concerns about individual liberty are misplaced and even paranoid. They are blind to caustic effects on liberty of an ever encroaching central bureaucracy.

RASMUSSEN: Support for ObamaCare Hits New Low: “Just 41% of voters nationwide now favor the health care reform proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s down two points from a week ago and the lowest level of support yet measured. . . . Senior citizens are less supportive of the plan than younger voters. In the latest survey, just 33% of seniors favor the plan while 59% are opposed. The intensity gap among seniors is significant.

Having an honest opposing viewpoint is not unAmerican and is not a reason to boycott an American company. It is however a reason to boycott an ONLINE Political bag of unAmerican activity like the Progressive Review…just don’t go there! I have never shopped at WHOLE FOODS, yet I’m going start to support the right to his Freedom of Speech displayed by the CEO. Progressive Review is unAmerican in their activities designed to intimidate and stifle free expression of any discenting views regarding the socialization of American Medicine and the overhaul of the American Health Insurance Industry.

By Stephen Dinan at The Washington Times Fearful that they’re losing ground on immigration and health care, a group of House Democrats is pushing back and arguing that any health care bill should extend to all legal immigrants and allow illegal immigrants some access. The Democrats, trying to stiffen their party’s spines on the contentious issue, say it’s unfair to bar illegal immigrants from paying their own way in a government-sponsored exchange.

Obama Wants More School, Shorter Break WASHINGTON Students beware: The summer vacation you just enjoyed could be sharply curtailed if President Barack Obama gets his way. Obama says American kids spend too little time in school, putting them at a disadvantage with other students around the globe. “Now, I know longer school days and school years are not wildly popular ideas,” the president said earlier this year. “Not with Malia and Sasha, not in my family, and probably not in yours.

Before Obama started illegally using them NEA had nothing to do with Obamacare.  Now though the Obama administration is using your tax dollars through the NEA to promote Obamacare.  Although illegal and unethical that doesn’t stop Obama.

Obama and the Utopian Dream of Nuclear Disarmament A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet Just a few days ago we watched as President Obama chaired the United Nations Security Council for the first time and pledged to bring nuclear disarmament to the planet. See, the thing is – he was SERIOUS about it! Now, nuclear disarmament alone frightens me, but having a President who actually believes in it and is pledging to do it, scares me witless ! What we have here, people, is a Utopian Dream right out of the 1960’s peace movement and ban-the-bomb movement.

On September 26, Bishop Charles E. Blake, Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ, a primarily African-American denomination, issued a statement in support of what he called President Barack Obama’s “effort to provide healthcare to every American.” It should be never be forgotten that, far from making an “effort to provide healthcare to every American” President Obama is one of the very few American politicians who has ever voted to deny healthcare to Americans.

Democrats—frustrated by the public’s resistance to their grand scheme to federalize health care and desperate to discredit legitimate opposition by changing the terms of the debate—are pounding the table, invoking allegations of racism as the motivation for the opposition.

By Alan CarubaYou know things are amiss when a British newspaper takes President Obama to task in an editorial titled, “Too much Obama.”America and the rest of the world have had nine months of President Obama and all the flaws that were hidden by campaign rhetoric and coverage are now on daily display. The problem, specifically, is too much rhetoric, too many speeches in too many places. The Times of London politely suggested “he has adopted flawed tactics for which he has only himself to blame.”“One of these is to be everywhere, all the time.

Is Obama telling a true story or not?  I don’t know and with Obama’s credibility gap, it’s impossible to tell.  It doesn’t matter, though.  What does matter is that, by relaying this anecdote , Obama is keeping alive the Obama/Hitler analogy: President Obama at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation dinner last night, discussing false claims made about the health care reform bill, told a little anecdote.

OBAMA’S HEALTH INSURANCE TAX: COMING SOON TO ALL POLICIES The Baucus healthcare bill provides for a tax on “gold-plated” health insurance policies. But, as with the Alternative Minimum Tax, once slated to be imposed only on the wealthy, inflation will make most Americans liable to pay the 40 percent tax in a few years. The tax applies to all individual policies with premiums above $8,750 and families of four whose premiums exceed $23,000.

Liberals have oft exalted communist Cuba’s “free” health care system .  Isn’t it wonderful?  Why can’t we do that? Of course, for one thing, the “free” system in Cuba isn’t nearly so wonderful as “Sicko” Michael Moore made it in his propaganda film.  Frankly, I wouldn’t take my dog to a Cuban hospital. It isn’t just Michael Moore; CNN depicted the Cuban system as a model for America , too. Most Americans would only go to Cuba at the point of a gun.  But Obama is trying to bring Cuba to us.

As Joe Guzzardi has been saying forever, it’s looking increasingly unlikely that the Obama Administration will emulate the Bush Administration’s suicidal attempts to force through an amnesty. Obamacare is causing them a big enough problem. But this just means they’ll go for a “stealth amnesty“–possibly through piecemeal legislation, but also through administrative measures like quietly abandoning enforcement. That’s exactly what Thomas Saenz, president and general counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, is now advocating.
