This must-watch video describes the Democrats’ shocking secret plan to ram-through Obamacare out of the view of the American people - using legislative sleight of hand that attaches the Senate’s Obamacare bill to an entirely un-related House bill as an amendment. As usual, they are trying to prevent the American people from actually reading the bill before it comes to a vote.

Joe Biden Says Economic Stimulus Working As Planned Obama Says Obamacare Health Care Will Save Economy The unemployment rate rose to 9.8% in September as employers cut far more jobs than expected, evidence that the longest recession since the 1930s is still inflicting widespread pain.  If laid-off workers who have settled for part-time work or have given up looking for new jobs are included, the unemployment rate rose to 17 percent, the highest on records dating from 1994.

Pajamas TV has the story on video here . By using legislative sleight of hand - attaching the Senate’s Obamacare bill to an entirely un-related House bill as an amendment. As usual, trying to prevent the American people from actually reading the bill before it comes to a vote. Why are they doing it this way? In order to get Obamacare through (placate the kook left base) while maintaining electoral viability (”I didn’t vote in favor of Obamacare, I just voted on a procedural issue.”).

T he International Olympic Committee decided to hold the 2016 games in Rio Di Janiero, and Brazilians’ triumphant joy was exceeded only by the exuberant schadenfreude of America’s political right. The New York Times heralded the reason: For Obama, an Unsuccessful Campaign . Although Chicago might have lost to Rio de Janeiro for reasons that had little to do with Mr. Obama, the fact that he made himself the face of its bid invariably meant that its defeat would be taken as a stinging rejection of its favorite son.

Despite being profiled early on in Glenn Beck’s czar series, Jeff Jones — who helped author the ObamaCare bill — has received far less scrutiny than Van Jones and some others. By now, though the barrage of radicalism may have inoculated you to the fact that a member of Obama’s team is best-known for his mug shots, Jeff Jones does indeed warrant the country’s attention. Some people,

My healthcare coverage is more than satisfactory and I don’t need ObamaCare. But, I found that I do not have vision care coverage. Apparently, the company and union didn’t think good vision was necessary. Are computer screens Braille-compatible? I called around and got a few quotes on eyeglass frames and lenses. The eye exam was quoted as $85. I went to Pearle Vision by the Tacoma Mall. They have been there “forever” and we tend to think that this means they are a quality operation, one you can trust.

L a Raza President Wants Health Care Reform for ‘Everyone,’ Including Illegal Aliens. National Council of La Raza President Janet Murguia said that health care reform should include “everyone,”  and this means illegal immigrants as well because with more people paying into the system it might lower the costs of health care. Speaking to reporters Thursday at a press conference in support of President Barack Obama’s efforts to pass a government-led overhaul of the nation’s health care system, Murguia said that while the issue of illegal immigrants was politically difficult, there were “strong” arguments for covering the illegals.

Some 200 patriotic citizens lined one side of Highway K early this afternoon at the intersection of Highways K & N in O’Fallon, Mo.  Their signs told the story of their passionate disdain for socialism, government-run health care and an out-of-control federal government.  Across the street, barely a dozen individuals carried signs in support of the so-called “Public Option” and other liberal agenda items.  In the video above, I showcase representatives from both sides of the street, allowing each to air their beliefs.

In Delivering Care, More Isn’t Always Better, Experts Say. A dirty word in health-care reform is “rationing,” a term that conjures up the image of faceless government bureaucrats denying lifesaving therapies in the name of cutting costs. “More is not necessarily better,” said Bernard Rosof, chairman of the board of directors of New York’s Huntington Hospital and a board member of the independent National Quality Forum.

The Democrats appear to be greedy for power, they appear to believe that the American people all 350 Million of us are too stupid to handle our own decisions and want the long arm of Government to reach into your homes and take over your decision making, your personal business and all other decision even down to parenting.  This is unacceptable for the MAJORITY OF THE 350 MILLION PEOPLE.   So you HAVE TO DO YOUR PART!

I work very hard, and all I want to do is work, and I don’t want to have to take time to slow down even when my body really needs to slow down. In consequence, I am the perfect stooge for the ObamaCare scheme that Americans seem hell-bent on ramming down each other’s throats.

Is the polio vaccine a good thing?  Most of us with any familiarity with the ravages polio inflicted on generations past would answer that question with an immediate and enthusiastic “yes.”  Still, the world would be a far better place if there was no polio and, thus, no polio vaccines.  The injection into our bodies of foreign substances to create immunities to disease is good only because the action is juxtaposed against the far worse pain and suffering of polio itself.   None of us wish to receive a daily injection if none is called for.  In fact, we wish to receive as few injections – and not one more – as is necessary to stay healthy.  The polio vaccine is, in fact, a necessary evil.

My Health Care Story - preachers-kid.com

I’d like to tell you about my recent experience with the health care system.I am a 24-year old, full time college student who has no job. Because of this I have no health insurance. This really isn’t a problem for me, since I usually only get a cold maybe twice a year. But recently I started having bad stomach pain. Long story short, it took about a month to figure out that I had gallstones. Thus, I would say I have a good perspective as one of the uninsured millions, on how well our health care system works here in the USA.First off, there are definitely problems with the system.

Obamacare: Cut the Elderly and Give to AARP - americayouaskedforit.wordpress.com

by Dick Morris and Eileen McGann at Townhall.com Among the $500 billion in Medicare cuts that will provide the bulk of the financing for Obama’s health care plan is a $160 billion to $180 billion cut in the Medicare Advantage program, which offers a range of benefits not available to beneficiaries under basic Medicare. Medicare Advantage should be Obama’s favorite program. It combines all the elements he likes — premiums are subsidized for low-income elderly, and the companies negotiate low-priced, managed care that emphasizes prevention, treatment of chronic conditions and coordination among doctors.

Washington Rebel LibrarianWe at Washington Rebel are big time Dr. Zero fans.  Indeed.  Here’s what he had to say in Why Big Government Doesn’t Work: Government fulfills its ambitions through compulsion, which reduces choice. Sometimes compulsion is necessary - you can’t fund national defense by passing around a collection plate. When government exceeds the minimal functions necessary to provide stability and security, and begins interfering in the economy for the benefit of certain constituencies, by definition it reduces the overall choices available to its citizens.

Ed Morrissey on a critical New York Times article: Let’s see. The White House jumped in front of a situation without understanding it, relying on the word of political cronies to shape their comprehension without checking for themselves. The caller was a conservative, but didn’t understand WHY Obamacare would never go away once instituted. He pointed to Prohibition, that experiment in creating an alcohol free society during the 1920`s that created a large criminal culture and likely lead to the Great Depression as a result of the destruction of an entire industry and likewise creating a wreckless spirit in the populace that led to overspeculation and dissolute living.

Despite his many words and television appearances, our elegant and eloquent President remains more an emblem of change than an agent of it. Virtually everyone in politics and the media who promoted the candidacy of Barack Obama seemed to think that he was a “transcendent” candidate. That somehow he would be able to cross party lines, eliminate racial divides and bring America to some new utopian existence as never before experienced. But Obama has been a failure and it is a virtual certainty that he will continue to be.

Rummaging around the innertubes yesterday I ran across this interesting exchange between blogger Brendan Nyhan and a commenter at his blog post which posited the question: “Will 2010 be like 1994?”. As that has been a frequent topic here at Wizbang, readers might find the debate between blogger and commenter quite interesting.Nyhan offers a reasonable estimation in his attempt to handicap the outcome of the 2010 midterm elections, including a look at actual contested races, an analysis of whether Republicans can actually field an effective opposition and the demographics of 1994 versus 2010.

I just love it when the blame game comes around especially with the politicians on the left. After the 2006 midterm elections in the last four years of the Bush Administration the Democrats took back control of the US House under current House Speaker U.S.Rep.Nancy Pelosi (C-Ca) and in the Senate U.S.Sen.Harry Reid (D-Nv) and even after the victory of Barack HUSSEIN Obama over Republican nominee for President U.S.Sen John McCain (R-Az) the Democrats even though they were unpopular in the polls taken then they still had a majority in the federal legislature in 2008.

I must admit I was a little surprised to read this scathing account of cluelessness and incompetence in the effort to land the 2016 Olympics for Chicago in the New York Times … until I realized it ran in the Sports section.  However, political reporters Jeff Zeleny and Peter Baker wrote it, and their inside look at the run-up and the reaction at the White House shows just how much this administration has bought its own press:Losing out on the Olympics, of course, is not the sort of war-and-peace issue that defines a presidency, and the embarrassment will presumably fade in a news cycle or two.
