Obviously, ACORN throws out Republican voter registrations. Your government still pays ACORN. Obama pays ACORN, today, with your children’s cash. only at Atlas Shrugs tonight. ACORN Threw Out Republican Voter Registrations Pamela: Have you worked with ACORN in the past, is this your first experience with them? Fathiyyah Muhammad: This is my first experience. This actually, I believe about February or March, this was before Obama got the nomination, long before then.

Oct.06, 2009 in barack obamaThe new ACORN = “Against Corporations Organizing to Rip-off Nation” Act The Democrats are striking back – let’s see how the GOP will feel about this new bill? Especially since many of their allies may be affected? This bill makes a lot more sense since it at least waits until the company is convicted, not like the one the GOP authored, which in essence a company is “Guilty till proven Innocent”! Rep. McCollum counters ACORN vote Source: Molly K.

1. When a lefty like Rex Babin of the lefty Sacramento Bee says you screwed up, Obama, then you screwed up, Obama.Truth to power.GOOD.2. The No. 1 recipient of money from the cruise ships industry is Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid. If only there were some tourist attraction in Nevada that competed with cruise ships. Hmm. Maybe Sherman Frederick of the Las Vegas Review-Journal should notice.No. 2 is Democratic Senator Jay Rockefeller, who represents another landlocked state…EVIL.3.

When you are a community organizer and under attack there is only one thing to do, bring out the race card. The latest count shows ACORN under investigation in 20 states, its employees were charged with more than 50 counts of “election-related fraud,” and that ACORN has spent more than $1 million on restitution to avoid criminal prosecutions (although the Louisiana AG says that number is closer to $5 million). And that doesn’t even count the videotape/prostitution scam.

What about “big” Minnesota foundations? For the life of me I can’t figure out how big foundations got duped in to giving to ACORN, well, most of them are run by left leaners so I guess it makes sense in a sick, twisted sort of way. With congress finally cutting them off (we never gave big governemnt permission to give our money to the criminal enterprise known as ACORN), looks as though big foundations have had enough as well. The liberal political organizing group ACORN, battered by the release of embarrassing videos and allegations of financial mismanagement and fraud, has also been losing support from several major foundations. The Ford Foundation, the Annie E.

Frankly, this article by Chris Hayes from the Nation is a must read for all members of Congress who voted to cut ties to ACORN. The thrust of the article is not a defense of ACORN but about the application of accountability. Something I tried to point out in this post . I assure you Chris Hayes does a much better job and his piece worth your attention regardless of where you are on the political spectrum. With the notable exception of handing over $700 billion to Wall Street last year, the United States Congress is not known for quick, decisive action.

Millions of Americans were shocked at the specter of two menacing thugs, one brandishing a nightstick, blocking the doorway to a Pennsylvania polling place on Election Day last November. They were even more shocked when the Obama Justice Department decided not to prosecute the most blatant, egregious case of voter intimidation in modern history. But for those who understand the Obama administration, there was no surprise.

More proof of ACORN involvement in voting irregularities were discovered when ACORN was found to have hired people still in jail. Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller, a democrat, told Eric Shawn on FOX News that ACORN was hiring convicts still in prison -CONVICTED OF IDENTITY THEFT- for canvassing voters. Ross said that by executing a search warrant at ACORN headquarters in Nevada the authorities were able to substantiate charges and have a very solid case against ACORN.

Two big stories this morning: First, Pamela Geller has an exclusive story on a Black Republican in Jacksonville, Florida that had heard in February of 2009 that ACORN was paying three dollars for each vote you could register, and subsequently registered voters for Acorn there, but that the group threw out her votes and fired her when she brought them GOP registrations.

Despite the uproar over the pimp-friendly organization promoting teen prostitution, the Obama Administration gifted the pro-Obama community organization with $1 million grant earlier this month to fight fires(?) Senator David Vitter (R-LA) reported this at Big Government : Earlier this month and despite the public scrutiny over the voter fraud and felony criminal activity associated with ACORN, the Department of Homeland Security went ahead and granted $997,402 to ACORN under the FY 2008 Fire Prevention and Safety Program.

It appears that the intent of the Anti-Acorn bill was to go after ACORN, but, in their haste to get it out, Congress might have shot themselves in the foot. I wonder how the GOP is going to manuever around this Bill in order to not hurt their own allies? I wonder if the bill is even Constitutional? Whoops: Anti-Acorn Bill Ropes In Defense Contractors, others charged with Fraud. Going after ACORN may be like shooting fish in a barrel lately — but jumpy lawmakers used a bazooka to do it last week and may have blown up some of their longtime allies in the process.

One of the sad truths about being a deployed member of the armed service is that you miss important dates such as weddings and birthdays. One of the more disappointing truths about serving in the military is that when it comes to elections, many of our votes are not counted.

Fact-checking a spoof? Srsly?! Sooooo…let me see if I’m tracking this, cuz ya know, I’m just an ignorant redneck: It’s okay to ridicule Sarah Palin but not Obama? I’m having a hard time putting my thoughts into words right now, seeing as my brain still hurts from having witnessed that abortion that is “hard news” from the mainstream/traditional media. You know…the Fourth Estate, otherwise known as the folks who are supposed to keep us abreast of what’s happening in the world today.

It’s been busy lately. The job has been kicking my ass lately and I’m trying to lobby for a new database application development position in the office. I’m trying to get a house rebuilt that has been sitting abandoned for at least a couple of decades. There was a grave sickness in the family and we’ve been trying hard to recover. And I’m still working hard nearly everyday to keep this blog at least somewhat interesting and that requires me to keep an ear open and an interest in what’s happening
