October 9, 2009 COMMENTARY ObamaCare: Fiction, by Acclamation The latest – and perhaps most shameless – entrant into this pageant of fictions is the healthcare reform being touted by President Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress as the elixir for what ails the nation. Since it is Obama’s want to be the ne plus ultra of all that is appealing and all that is deceptive in American politics, it should come as no surprise that his plan is superlative both in its ambition and its shunning of reality.

Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman Liberty Counsel Harry Reid is preparing to rush a version of ObamaCare through the Senate – this scheme is hatching behind closed doors and it could happen any day! See below. – Mat Democratic Senator Harry Reid is scheming to rush the anti-life ObamaCare bill through the Senate, and this could all take place within the next two weeks. My sources on the Hill have confirmed that Sen.

Early this morning, I too received a call from Oslo Norway informing me that I have won the Nobel Prize for Conservative Blogging.   They informed me that I had won because of my potential to spread Linky Love throughout the conservative blogosphere. I am both surprised and deeply humbled by the decision of the Nobel Committee.  Let me be clear:  I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of Rule #2 on behalf of aspirations held by bloggers in all nations.

In his remarks to a joint session of Congress recently, Barack Obama said:As soon as I sign this bill… insurance companies will be required to cover, with no extra charge, routine checkups and preventive care, like mammograms and colonoscopies because there’s no reason we shouldn’t be catching diseases like breast cancer and colon cancer before they get worse. That makes sense, it saves money, and it saves lives. That’s all fine and dandy, however, the proposal by the Senate Financial Committee plans to extract $4 billion a year starting in 2010 from medical device manufacturers in order to pay for Obama’s plan.

You heard it here first!  Obamacare (caps only for grammar purpose’s) The devil, is ALWAYS in the details! Well, the details are starting to roll in, and, as I warned. The obamacare assault on personal freedom and liberty will be a back door attempt at gun control. Recently, a good friend and fellow bloger has gotten into a spitting match with a Texas Mayor . I have refrained from commenting, as I intend to allow this….
Next for Obama: Baseball’s Cy Young Award?americanconservativedaily.com

By John W. Lillpop Each year, Major League Baseball bestows the “Cy Young Award” to the two best pitchers in the sport, one from the American League and another for the National League. The award is named after baseball legend Cy Young who won a remarkable 511 games over his major league career. Until now, the award has been given to those hurlers who have actually accomplished greatness on the ball diamond. However, with the precedent established by the Noel Peace Prize Award for hope and promises, the Lords of Baseball need to rethink the prestigious Cy Young Award.

October 08, 2009, 4:00 a.m. Could Obamacare Be Repealed?Encouraging signs from the states. By Stephen Spruiell In the early 1990s, eight state governments imposed “guaranteed issue” and “community rating” regulations on health-insurance companies operating in their states. Guaranteed issue means that insurance companies cannot deny coverage except in rare cases, such as those involving fraud. Community rating means that insurance companies are restricted in their ability to charge higher rates based on things like gender, age, or medical history.

The Wall Street Journal’s insight here, and I agree, it is a circus and it’s like waiting to see if they can pull a rabbit out of the hat.  I am curious to know what type of business intelligence software they are using for all of this , just my nature being curious as to what method of aggregation and mining is used.  I hope they are not trying to do this on Excel Spreadsheets, but nothing would surprise me at this point.  I think they need some better algorithms, like the ones used by Wall Street, that took all the money from the middle class, as there is strong proof that those algos work, unfortunately.

so, one of the other things I didn’t address in Michaels’ text was this chapter, Just and Unjust Rewards. It seems to begin as an attempt disarm critics who might argue that he is only picking on race when it comes to diversity. After all, part of the diversity program is race, ethnicity, gender, and so forth. So why pick on race, right? To really be fair, and not come off like a racist, you should really look at all the rhetoric around diversity: gender, disability, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, and so forth.

Tonight, we present: Surprised President In Chair Why is the President surprised? Is it because … a) He’s doing a sitting pee-pee dance because he’s all wee-wee’d up? b) He’s just received his very first colonoscopy under Obamacare? c) He received a Nobel Peace Prize for…something, we don’t know what but our soldiers in Afghanistan are worried all the same? d) Something altogether different? Here at the Caption Control Center for Photosnark (CCCP), we don’t have any answers.

In case you missed them, look for Moonbattery’s other treatments of the Obama Nobel Prize here , here ,and here . -=-=-=- Here’s yet another take — Trading tip: sell those Obama futures contracts NOW. This Nobel prize was probably voted on fairly recently, despite the February nomination deadline. It telegraphs the deep concern of liberal European elitists that Obama’s stock is falling, both internationally and domestically, and may not recover.

Maybe the half of the country that dislikes him should award him for stating, err I mean for reading off a teleprompter that no illegals will be covered under Obamacare or that he is “looking into” TORT reform or that he is closing gitmo or that all troops are coming come from Iraq or that Afghanistan is a necessary war.

Before “fixing” health care, maybe Washington should focus on educa tion. Because it looks like no one in Congress ever learned basic math. How else to explain the Democrats’ boast that ObamaCare will save taxpayers money? They’re reacting, of course, to the Congressional Budget Office’s declaration that Sen. Max Baucus’ “compromise” health-care bill — which comes in at the bargain-basement price of $829 billion — might reduce the federal deficit. Too bad the numbers come from books so well-cooked they’d make Julia Child blush.

President Obama and the political-media establishment have worked overtime to sell dramatically expanded government intervention in, and participation in,  health insurance and medical services.  If they succeed, government will dictate the terms of your health insurance policy.  If you don’t want to buy it, you’ll be hit with a huge federal fine. If they succeed in their long term goal the only insurance will be government insurance. What do the President and his gang promise you in exchange for curtailing your liberty? Security.

It was months ago that Obama vilified doctors and basically called them greedy: “Right now, doctors, a lot of times, are forced to make decisions based on the fee payment schedule that’s out there. So if you come in and you’ve got a bad sore throat, or your child has a bad sore throat, or has repeated sore throats, the doctor may look at the reimbursement system and say to himself, ‘You know what?

Jim Bunning (R-Ky.) that would create a Senate rule to enact a 72-hour waiting period and a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) score before considering any legislation in the U.S. Senate and all of its committees from coming to the floor for a full debate (Oct. 8, 2009).

The Washington Post reports on the oh-so-predictable disillusionment of the major players in the health-care industry over the direction of ObamaCare, especially over promises broken by a White House that has steadfastly refused to lead after suckering them into giveaways. The list of the disillusioned includes the AMA, which recently endorsed the ObamaCare concept, and hospital executives, who thought they’d end up with extra cash for caving.

by Mike Adams, NaturalNews.com When it comes to affordable, effective health care reform in America, there’s only one question that really needs to be asked right now:  What works? In other words, what works to keep people healthy? What’s affordable, safe and supports the long-term health of the population? What’s available  right now that can help people get healthy and remain healthy? Those answers aren’t difficult.

Who’s duty is it to feed the poor? If you listen to the popular political chatter on Washington and ever more frequently on main street  it is the duty of the government to provide all things for the poor (by their own arbitrary definitions). What is the Christian stance on such programs? What does the Bible say regarding the poor? Giving? Judas knew, and he tried to use it a pretext for theft: Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

I am shocked that the Nobel Peace Prize has been so devalued and debased as to be awarded to a man with no provable achievements, no accomplishments and whose very existence makes a mockery of the American-way of politics.Truth be told, the telegenic, well-spoken Barack Obama who exists is a world of pre-written speeches and TelePrompTer oration is little more than a demonstration of the actor’s art – he should be receiving an Emmy, not a Nobel Peace Prize.I believe that this says more about the Nobel Committee and their socialistic views than it does about the recipient.  Barack Obama has done nothing, squat, to advance peace in this world.

From Reason: Last month a federal judge sentenced Rosa Martinez, a physician in Yakima, Washington, to a year’s probation and a $1,000 fine for Medicare and Medicaid fraud. The fraud occurred when a physician’s assistant in Martinez’s practice mistakenly charged the government for her services at the physician’s rate, which is allowed only when the supervising physician is present, which Martinez wasn’t. She said she was unaware of the rule but accepted responsibility for the errors because they occurred on her watch.

There’s really nothing I can say to preface Keith Olbermann ’s one-hour “special comment” on the healthcare debate here in America.  It’s honest, frightening and often times brought me close to tears. This special tells the truth behind the lies of what healthcare reform will bring and exposes what will happen if we don’t get healthcare reform here in America.  The statistics are startling. For instance, if you are without insurance in America, you are 40% more likely to die than someone with insurance.
