If the Democrates had any principles, they would have followed through with the demands that Gitmo be closed by paying for the closing costs associated with their demands. But since Democrats have very little understanding of how the world works, they deny the funding for Gitmo and hope the money gets pulled out thin air. But there is no magic in real life, people must make hard decisions. The Dems cannot face their constituents and tell them the “Achmed and Abdul” are being relocated to their neighborhood, except John Murtha, who wants all the detainees in Pennsylvania.
