How the FCC and liberal churches are scheming to shut you up Michelle Malkin – Syndicated Columnist – 10/28/2009 9:40:00 AM The war on conservative speech has moved from the White House to your neighborhood pews. Left-wing church leaders want the Federal Communications Commission to crack down on “hate speech” over cable TV and right-leaning talk-radio airwaves. President Obama’s speech-stifling bureaucrats seem all too happy to oblige.

“Transformative change” by sheikyermami on October 28, 2009 Look out America, you not gonna like this: “Without media justice, there will be no social justice!” The “interfaith coalition for media justice” is led by the United Church of Christ. Yes, that’s the same church of Obama’s race-baiting, Jew-bashing ex-pastor Jeremiah Wright.

This post provides links to a number of interesting articles I have read over the past few days that you may also enjoy. • Randall Forsyth (Barron’s): Reflation trade shifting into reverse? October 27, 2009. Risk assets ranging from stocks to commodities to currencies seem to be faltering after being floated on a sea of liquidity. • Doug Kass (TheStreet.com):   My “fast money” recap , October 28, 2009.

I work with the Think Tank Freedom Lab in Amsterdam, and I have had a fruitful relationship with The FreedomLab boys since 1995. This film is something they created from a two hour conversation about my next project , and what I see as some real and pressing issues for businesses and brands. Usually these films are not released into the public realm, but Arjan and Jorgen agreed to allow my to share this. So thank you Freedom Lab.

by Patrick Ames I associated with a lot of money managers as a former money manager myself. None of them ever taught their systems although some of them were very successful. When I said I was going to teach my system, they all said I was crazy. I knew I would not be hurting myself, knowing what I know about volume and liquidity on the dail charts. If it hurt their own fills and performance, no trader worth their salt would ever share their system no matter how “nice” they seem.

by Patrick Ames As a former money manager I associated with a lot of other money managers. Some of them were successful, some of them were not and none of them ever taught their systems. They all said I was crazy when I said I was going to teach my system. But knowing what I know about volume and liquidity on the daily charts I knew I would not be hurting myself. No trader worth their salt would ever share their system if it hurt their own fills and performance no matter how “nice” they seem.

USA Today recently published an article that talked about Kiva , an online group that helps make micro-loans available to individuals starting or expanding small businesses, and the people who lend the money to make these loans possible.  Last year Kiva started a competition to encourage people to lend money.  Groups of people banded together to see which groups could lend and re-lend the most money.

Devotees of socialism must be delighted with its revival in what is ObamaSoc. The half century that followed the end of World War II demonstrated the failure of socialism in Eastern Europe. Much of Europe (and Japan) had been battered by bombs and economically devastated. Nations once as prosperous as Czechoslovakia and Poland had been turned into economic basket cases. A divided Germany provided the best contrast and Japan prospered.

I almost forgot about what I read in the Syracuse Post Standard  Sunday morning that caused me to laugh out loud. My congressman, Dan Maffei, met with Law and Order star Sam Waterston to discuss campaign finance reform. This from the man who was bought and paid for by liberal interest groups . Most of his campaign cash came from groups outside of Central New York. George Soros was a big donor. Maffei, D-DeWitt, joined more than two dozen members of Congress who met with television’s “Law & Order” star in a Capitol reception room.

Via the Nazi sympathizer George Soros funded “ Think Progress “: Durbin is a-typical of the “Let them eat cake” Democrat elite. Big mistake. Americans aren’t going to let mealy-mouthed, secret leakers, call them “suckers” just for standing against socialism being shoved down their throats. Keep talking it up son, you’re just pissing us off more. You ain’t seen anything yet. Just ask Lloyd Doggett: Technorati Tags: Dick Durbin , Media Matters , Soclalist

- By Josh Painter We don’t subscribe to the notion recently floated by Rick Moran in “Did Sarah Palin just ‘Pwn’ the media with divorce rumors?” The theory holds that the Gryphen-Zaki meltdown over the weekend was the result of an elaborate Rovian-style setup brilliantly planned and executed by Sarah Palin: It’s too pat, the pieces fit too nicely together (an “explanation” for why she resigned) not to raise alarms with real journalists.

If you can stomach more of the use of the word “inherited”, which is a euphemism for blaming George W. Bush, then watch this: Get a load of who’s lying for Obama. Geithner says, “We’re going to do what is necessary,” which is another way of saying that they don’t give a fuck about all the promises not to raise taxes. But then look at the chart below, which basically speaks for itself. The bottom is going to fall out of this so-called ‘recovery’ because the government doesn’t have the money.
